Combined with the fact, we spend most of our time walking on hard concrete surfaces; the wear and tear on our feet is enormous. There are over 300 identified foot ailments.

Of course your foot’s function and alignment will influence the entire lower limb and may have implications to ankle, shin, knee, hip and lower back pain.

Cannington Podiatry treats a range of foot related ailments including: shin splints, arch discomfort, knee pain, heel spurs/plantar fasciitis, diabetic assessment, orthotics, toe-nail problems, Neuroma, metatarsalgia, ankle joint pain/problems, corns, calluses and dry fissured heels, and any other foot related troubles.

No referral is necessary for treatment. Private health fund rebates are available, and can be processed through HICAPS onsite. Veteran’s Affairs clients are covered. Some people are eligible for coverage under Medicare and must be referred by their doctor.
